Academic year Diploma in Journalism – North West Regional College

This is a highly charged, fast-paced course which will give students the skills to enter a challenging and rewarding industry, and is aimed at giving you a core qualification for direct entry to the newspaper industry. You will undertake work experience one day per week from November, and opportunities will be given to develop professional contacts. This professional qualification provides an excellent pathway to employment as a journalist in the newspaper industry. With the experience and skills gained on the course you will be in a position to apply for relevant posts. Journalists today need a range of skills and this course offers the best possible grounding in the necessary disciplines.
