Learn essential leadership skills around equality, diversity and inclusion as part of the NCTJ's special taster training package
The NCTJ’s Journalism Skills Academy will host a special series of leadership ‘lunch and learn’ virtual training sessions, focusing on equality, diversity and inclusion issues.
The training will provide entry-level skills and knowledge into important topics which contribute towards achieving a diverse and engaged workforce.
The ‘lunch and learn’ sessions provide bite-sized learning which last for one hour across lunch time, allowing people to fit learning into the busy day-to-day.
Nurturing equality, diversity and inclusion within the team is essential for creativity, innovation and long-term business success.
Delegates will gain knowledge on each topic and practical tips and guidance which can be transferred to their roles.
The sessions will be held in November and December and each course costs £55 + VAT. All three courses bought as a package cost £145 + VAT. The training is part the skills academy’s extensive programme of leadership training and development for editorial leaders

This session explores equality in the workplace and how this has evolved in recent years, highlighting the perceived differences between male and female leadership while championing diverse leadership styles.

Opening up the conversation about imposter syndrome, this session will offer practical tips and advice to recognise and address it in yourself and others.
