Digital Content Manager – National World (Wolverhampton)

Midland News Association is one of the UK’s most successful publishers, with its daily titles the Express & Star and Shropshire Star generating more than half a million page views per day as well as supporting a fast-growing subscription model.

It is looking for a talented journalist to join its team of digital content managers in their work to provide readers across the West Midlands, Shropshire and Staffordshire with engaging and informative content through words, pictures and video. This is an exciting role that would suit an existing content manager or a senior reporter looking to broaden their skills. It will involve working with our team of talented journalists in developing an effective content strategy that serves our readers. There will also be a chance to produce your own material to add to the content of our websites and newspapers.

If you are happy to work as part of a team dealing with breaking news but also bursting with fun and interesting story ideas, then this is the ideal role for you.

We offer flexible working, with offices in Wolverhampton and Telford but also the opportunity to work from home.

Applications should be made in writing, with a CV, to Editor Mark Drew at mark.drew@jpress.co.uk
