Multimedia Journalist / Graduate – Clear Sky Publishing (Torbay Devon)

If you’ve got a nose for a story – and the right skills to tell it – this is the break you’ve been looking for.

Here at the expanding, Devon-focused Clear Sky Publishing, we’re looking for a promising multimedia journalist to source and create original online, video and print content for leading titles including The North Devon Gazette, Torbay Weekly, The Moorlander, Exeter Living and Exeter Tomorrow, plus their associated websites.

It’s a great opportunity to learn the ropes, hone your skills and spark off a rewarding career in journalism.

So what do you need to get started? The writing and storytelling skills to produce a range of content, from big local scoops to press releases and announcements. The confidence to build contacts and interview everyone from sports stars to members of the public. And a passion that matches ours – to inform, inspire and promote your community.

You should have an understanding of digital, video and print content, ideally with experience and proficiency with content management and publishing systems. However, if you can bring a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, a can-do attitude and a commitment to develop your skillset, full familiarisation and training will be provided.

Come and join this expanding media team at an exciting time for the entire publishing industry. An attractive salary and industry leading holiday entitlements are available for the right candidate.

Salary – £25-£30k depending on experience
