Reporter

The Midland News Association is looking for two journalists with experience and enthusiasm to join its team.

We are particularly looking for senior reporters with experience in driving substantial online audience and the ability to take on complicated background news explainers.
Court reporting experience would also be desirable.

This is a role for ambitious, dedicated and enthusiastic journalists with a proven track record.

As a multimedia journalist, you must be comfortable producing content for all digital platforms – from in-depth features to breaking news articles, as well as producing video and audio content.

We are looking for journalists, able to deliver accurate, entertaining copy to meet strict deadlines. A full, clean driving licence is required.

We will also consider NCTJ Diploma trained journalists who are working towards their NQJ.

This is a great opportunity to join our newsroom, covering the diverse, vibrant and busy patches of the Black Country and Shropshire, and a brilliant chance to develop your career at a news organisation celebrating its 150th birthday this year.

If you are interested in this role, please send a copy of your CV and covering letter to editor-in-chief Martin Wright at martin.wright@jpress.co.uk
