The last applications for the 2016/2017 Journalism Diversity Fund cycle have now been shortlisted. Ten journalists, hoping to secure the funding they need to cover the cost of their NCTJ-accredited journalism training, have been invited to interview.

NCTJ and JDF support new editorial diversity bursary scheme

A new editorial diversity bursary scheme was launched today at the 2016 Society of Editors’ conference. Doug Wills, managing editor of the London Evening Standard and The Independent explained how the company was working with partners, including the NCTJ and Journalism Diversity Fund, to launch and fund the scheme.
