The winner of the NCTJ’s award for the best shorthand performance at 110/120wpm, sponsored by Ryman, was presented with his prize at the Glasgow branch of the stationery store on Monday.

Hannah Scott, the winner of the Archant award for best performance in the 100wpm shorthand exam, received her prize from Archant North London group editor, Geoff Martin, at the NCTJ’s shorthand seminar in London yesterday.

Ryman, the UK’s largest specialist stationery store, is to sponsor the National Council for the Training of Journalists’ award for the best shorthand performance at 110/120 words per minute.
