Journalism Diversity Fund announces cohort two interview shortlist

Four applicants have been shortlisted for interview for the second cohort of Journalism Diversity Fund bursaries and will face questions from an interview panel on Friday, 13 June.
The following applicants have been shortlisted for interview:

Emma Clothier

Lizabeth Davis

Danny Gallagher

Josiah Mortimer

The interviews will be held at talkSPORT, London, and the applicants will be questioned on a variety of topics, including their passion for journalism, financial need and the diversity they would bring to a newsroom.

Successful candidates will be awarded a bursary to cover the cost of their journalism training. A contribution towards travel and living expenses may also be awarded depending on financial need.

Applications are now being received for cohort three of the September 2014 – August 2015 academic year.

The deadline for cohort three applications is Wednesday, 9 July at 5pm. Application forms can be found under the ‘Can I Apply?’ tab of the Journalism Diversity Fund website.
