Journalism Diversity Fund shortlist announced

The shortlist for the third round of Journalism Diversity Fund bursaries has now been announced.
Eight applicants have been invited for interview and will be questioned by a panel of editors and senior journalists next month.

The interviews will take place at Pearson in London on Friday 7 December. The interviewees will be asked various questions about their passion for journalism, financial need and diversity.

Successful interviewees will be awarded a bursary to cover the cost of their journalism training. A contribution towards travel or living expenses may also be awarded depending on financial need.

Those starting an accredited course in February or March 2013 can apply for the fourth round of bursaries. The closing date for applications is Friday 21 December 2012.
