Paul Delmar, former head of photography and photojournalism at Sheffield College, has been awarded the UK Picture Editors’ Guild Chairman’s Award for outstanding contribution to press photography.

Paul Delmar, former head of photography and photojournalism at Sheffield College, has been awarded the UK Picture Editors’ Guild Chairman’s Award for outstanding contribution to press photography.

With extensive experience as a news photographer, picture editor and lecturer, many of the top names in news photography today are Paul’s former students.

Hosted by BBC journalist and presenter Kate Silverton, the UK Picture Editors’ Guild Awards recognise outstanding photography from the world of news, royalty, sport, business, fashion and entertainment.
