The Sky News diversity work placements scheme has opened for applications from people whose backgrounds are currently under-represented at Sky News.

The Sky News diversity work placements scheme has opened for applications from people whose backgrounds are currently under-represented at Sky News.
Applicants for the July to December placements must demonstrate a passion for journalism and be from a Black, Asian, or other Ethnic Minority group, or from an economically disadvantaged background.

Placements will last a maximum of three weeks and be unpaid, with successful candidates receiving £15 expenses per day. Candidates will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation.

However, a limited number of bursary placements are available for candidates from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

The deadline for applications is Friday, 18 April and applications will only be accepted from candidates who apply through the website.
