Although these may be dark days for our country and trade, the response from national and local journalists, educators and trainers, examiners and volunteers has been truly magnificent.

Dedicated, trained and qualified journalists are doing what they do best to support communities with news and information they can trust.

The calm and collegiate response from centres running our accredited courses is extremely heartening – they are really stepping up to innovate and overcome adversity and uncertainty. As ever, they are putting the needs and the interests of their students centre stage.

The camaraderie and support we have received from like-minded industry charities and businesses that share our values has been very welcome and is cherished.

And the NCTJ team are being absolutely fantastic – even though we are working remotely we are closer together and determined to overcome any challenges we face with professionalism…and humour.
