The Journalism Diversity Fund will appear on Colourful Radio tomorrow morning.
Tune in to the online radio station at 11.35am to hear Melissa Allison-Forbes, journalism diversity intern, and Jermaine Haughton, a current recipient of the fund, discuss the fund’s importance.
Dotun Adebayo, BBC Radio 5 presenter, will join them via phone to discuss why he thinks schemes such as the Journalism Diversity Fund are important.
The fund received 68 applications in the last round and it’s hoped a radio appearance will let more people from diverse backgrounds know that no matter what their background, journalism is a viable career.
Colourful Radio is an internet streaming radio station and is aimed at London’s diverse communities.
