Thirteen applicants shortlisted in final JDF round of 2019

Thirteen aspiring journalists have been shortlisted in the fourth and final Journalism Diversity Fund application round of 2019.

Two panels of senior industry figures will interview the shortlisted candidates at the Financial Times in London on Friday, 6 December.

Bursaries are awarded to those who have a passion for journalism, financial need and can demonstrate how they will bring diversity to the newsroom.

Bursaries can help cover the costs of NCTJ course fees and/or travel and living expenses while studying.
