Photographers make the grade

Eighteen trainee press photographers and photo-journalists took part in the NCTJ’s latest exam on May 6, at The Sheffield College. Twelve of them made the grade as seniors– a pass rate of 67 per cent.

NCE for Sports Reporters ready for kick-off

A brand new NCTJ qualification, the National Certificate examination for sports reporters, is now open for registrations from trainee journalists who will be able to take the exam for the first time in March next year if they have at least 18 months experience.
